I speak to my nani ammi every night before I go to bed, and my mom always asks what we talk about and how is it that our conversations last forever
We talk about all the cousins, who is getting married to whom, who wore what where, who's expecting, the latest family scandals thatre making the rounds, and so forth. Not to say my mother doesnt talk forlong periods, she sometimes talks to my nani ammi all through the night.
