I think it's a nice article, and I don't see anything wrong with it. The only thing I could think of as to why it might have been rejected is because:

1. The repetitive use of "Imam" as title.

2. The concept of Ahl al-Bayt is said to include more than the ones mentioned in the article, such as the wives of the Prophet (sAaw).

I may be wrong, Allahu a3lam. I'm just thinking out loud.
