. Maybe in Canada, but not where I live. We had a HUGE cake made for my nephew's aqeeqa, and it was completely demolished except for about 5 slices. People couldn't believe it when we told them it was from the grocery store up the street. In December, I ordered a strawberry shortcake from another grocery store bakery, and that was demolished at one of our parties too. I guess it really just depends. On my 16th birthday, my aunt and uncle bought me a cake from a pastry shop, and it was over a $150. It was really delish, but $150+ for a cake? Boooooooooooo
