It's sank down. It happens when you add too much butter and cream. You decided to go it alone and deviate from the cookbook rules...that's what you get you rebel. There's a way you can fix it, but i can't remember what my sister said.
You could just say that your daughter or son made it. Then they'll think "aww cute" instead of ribbing you for it.
