1. There are two categories of Makrooh; a) Tahrimi and, b) Tanzihi.

4. Makrooh Tahrimi is Haraam. The only reason why it is called Makrooh Tahrimi is due to some technicalities in classifications. However, the outcome of both Makrooh Tahrimi and Haraam is sinful in the sight of Allah. (Madhabul Hanafi vol.1 pg.304). As for Makrooh Tanzihi, by perpetrating it continuously, it will become Makrooh Tahrimi. (Ahsanul Fataawa vol.8 pg.85; HM Saeed)
