i pick her up (sometimes with gloves; she bites ridiculously hard for a bird that weighs maybe 2 ounces) and try to make it a point to safely put her down in different places to try and get her used to the idea of me toting her around. it's the hands that bother her the most (and i understand that; other parrotlets are the same), but i just dont want her to react so violently (biting, flying into things [her wings are clipped]). so yeah; suggestions are appreciated.

Grab her quickly and handle her a bit. Once she's calm enough and knows you won't hurt her, it'll be easier the second time around.
